CatIQ sees Ontario, Quebec storm loss rise on residential claims
CatIQ has raised its industry loss estimate for the severe thunderstorm event that affected southern Ontario and southern Quebec between June 30 and July 3 2026 to C$491 million ($345 million), with residential claims accounting for most of the increase from its previous estimate.
