Chubb’s Greenberg: it’s just too dangerous for runaway softening

The commercial insurance market will likely keep the reins on underwriting discipline even as competition increases in 2025 as risks accelerate and a painful period of run-away loss cost trend remains fresh in the underwriter collective memory, Chubb CEO  Evan Greenberg (pictured) wrote in his annual letter to shareholders.
