Cincinnati bucks 1/1 trend, turns rate cut into buying spree

P&C carrier Cincinnati took a 7% average rate cut on its January 1 reinsurance renewals, but ploughed those savings and still more back into additional coverage, bucking the broader 1/1 trend of spendthrift cedants, CEO Stephen Spray has indicated.
