Claims veteran joins Gallagher Re executive suite
Gallagher Re has appointed a claims veteran, formerly leading at Willis Re and Brit, to its executive ranks.
Steve Robson has been appointed chief claims officer at Gallagher Re.
Robson was formerly global head of claims at Gallagher Re, where he was responsible for all complex and referral claims for Gallagher Re’s clients Worldwide for a number of years.
During his nearly 40 years in the sector, Robson has held appointments including global head of claims and head of London Market reinsurance claims at Willis Re. He also served as head of claims at Brit, managing director of Syndicate 1884, president of the International Association of Claims Professionals (IACP), and held chairmanships at the London market CAT Coordination Group and its Reinsurance Claims Practitioner Group.
Gallagher Re’s CEO Tom Wakefield, commented: “I’d like to sincerely thank Steve for his tremendous contribution to date and wish him every success in his new role.”
