Commercial premium up 4% Q1 to date on acceleration in casualty: Gallagher

Commercial insurance renewal premium is growing at a 4% annual pace to date in the first quarter, slightly higher at 5% in US wholesale, driven by acceleration for casualty offsetting moderation in property lines, officials at re/insurance brokerage group Arthur J Gallagher have claimed.
