Commercial property cracks 80% CoR as losses all but disappear

US commercial property insurance cut a heady 8.3 points from its combined ratio in 2025 to a highly profitable 79.6% on a 15% decline in net losses to levels not yet seen this decade, a line by line industry scorecard from AM Best has shown.
