Commercial rates calm after the Q2 storm; property reverts from spike

US commercial P&C insurance renewal rate growth held little changed in July to take the edge off a highly volatile second quarter, with the average of six key commercial lines holding flat month to month, the latest reading of the Ivans Index indicated.
