Conduit enjoys 36% premium growth in H1, property and specialty shine

Pure-play reinsurer Conduit Holdings, the parent company of Conduit Re, saw a 36% surge in top-line growth in the first half of the year, driven by strong property and specialty underwriting. While Conduit noted “pricing pressure” in certain casualty classes, it said rates are “generally adequate” and the underwriting environment remains attractive across its targeted business classes.
