Cumbersome carrier tech is actively driving independent agents away: Ivans

Nine out of 10 independent agents have reduced business with a carrier because its process was too difficult, according to the 2026 Ivans Connection Survey. The findings suggest workflow friction is becoming an immediate distribution issue for carriers, rather than a longer-term drag on retention.
