Cyber Insurance Awards Europe 2026: nominations to close soon

Nominations for the 17 Company Award categories and 7 Individual Award categories including 5 new categories for 2026, are now open, providing the perfect opportunity for individuals, teams and companies to showcase their achievements and gain recognition.

The deadline to enter the awards is Friday October, 10th, 2025. Entering the awards is free of charge and entries are being accepted via the online nomination forms.

The awards team at Intelligent Insurer has highlighted that given that last year’s awards received over 200 entries and nearly 400 European cyber insurance professionals gathered in London at the awards ceremony to hear who had won, competition is expected to be fierce. As a carefully crafted entry takes time, the team encourages entries to be submitted early.

As in previous years, once entries close, all official nominations will be judged by our expert, independent panel of judges who will decide one winner and one highly commended entrant per category.

Recognising industry talent

As entries begin to flood in, ahead of the deadline, this year, Intelligent Insurer is asking those who wish to shine a light on cyber industry talent in the UK and Europe to complete a brief survey where they can put forward who they feel deserves to be shortlisted in each category. This is particularly important for the individual categories as often those most deserving of one of the 7 individual awards might not feel comfortable putting themselves forward and we can ensure they are not overlooked.

Those wishing to suggest a brand or individual for nomination can do so via this brief industry survey as soon as possible. The suggestions will not count as entries but instead will guide the awards team as to who the industry feels is deserving of being in each category.

New categories for 2026

This year’s awards feature a number of new categories designed to further recognise innovation and talent in the industry.

New categories such as ‘Cyber Technical Specialist of the Year’ and ‘Cyber Underwriter of the Year’ will highlight some of the unsung heroes of the industry.

The 2026 ceremony will take place at a new, elegant, historic venue close to the City on Wednesday February 4 following Intelligent Insurer’s Cyber Risk and Insurance Innovation 2026 conference, February 3-4.
