Cyber specialist Coalition enters long-term capacity deal with Aspen
Cyber insurance specialist Coalition has agreed a multi-year capacity agreement with Aspen Specialty Insurance.
The Bermuda-headquartered business will provide Coalition with capacity in the US from April 1. Under the capacity deal brokered by McGill & Partners, Aspen will assume a share of Coalition’s US surplus lines cyber program this year.
Shawn Ram, Coalition head of insurance, said the firm continued to see “robust interest” in the coverage.
“We continue consolidating capacity in the market because of our industry-leading underwriting results and capabilities,” he said.
“We’re thrilled to have Aspen join our US panel of capacity partners and continue providing outstanding cyber coverage to our policyholders.”
In addition to the US, Coalition offers its Active Insurance products in the UK and Canada, which Aspen already supports, as well as in Australia through both relationships with insurers and cyber capacity through its own carrier, Coalition Insurance Company.
