Cyclone Alfred insured loss tab trimmed to $1.6bn: Perils

Cyclone Alfred, which hit Queensland and New South Wales from February 28 to March 12, is expected to cost insurers A$2.25 billion ($1.46 billion), according to Perils’ second estimate.
