Dive In Festival to close with AI-focused culture and talent agenda

Dive In Festival has set out plans for its final edition in September 2026, with the global insurance industry set to focus on the impact of artificial intelligence on workplace culture, leadership and talent development.

The festival, taking place from 22 to 24 September, will centre on the theme “The Human gAIn: Powering Culture & Connection”, exploring how insurers can balance increasing automation with human skills such as judgement, empathy, creativity and trust.

Dive In said the 2026 event will mark both a celebration of progress made since its launch in 2015 and a final opportunity for the market to come together in a global festival format. The initiative has expanded from a London-based event into a programme spanning more than 50 countries, with this year’s edition expected to run across more than 30 countries and in over 60 languages.

The festival continues to be backed by insurers, brokers and industry organisations including AIG, Antares, Aon, Arch, Asta, Aviva, Axa XL, Clyde & Co, Fidelis Insurance Group, Gallagher, GP Strategies, Liberty Mutual, Lloyd’s, Markel, Marsh, Moody’s, RenaissanceRe and WTW. Additional supporter partners for 2026 include Axis, Alliant, Everest, KPMG, Lockton Re and RGA.

Dive In to Reverse Mentoring will also return for its fifth cohort, bringing together professionals across different career stages to exchange knowledge and perspectives.

Registration for Dive In 2026 will open on 14 July at Dive In Festival.

David Martin, global director, inclusion & diversity, Gallagher, said: “Dive In has played a vital role in bringing the industry together to share ideas, challenge perspectives and drive progress. As AI reshapes the workplace, building trust, belonging and shared purpose has never been more important in creating a more inclusive future.”

Nick Line, chief underwriting officer at CFC and chair of Dive In for 2026, said: “Over the past 11 years, I’ve seen first-hand the role Dive In plays in opening up important conversations across our industry. At its heart, it’s about building an insurance market where anyone with the talent and ambition to succeed has a fair chance of doing so. As Chair, I’m incredibly proud to lead the festival into its final year, which we are aiming to be its most impactful yet.”
