Climate tests APAC insurer buffers

Asia Pacific insurers enter 2027 with generally strong capital buffers, but climate losses, market volatility and softening reinsurance prices will increasingly test the sector's resilience, according to Frank Yuen, senior vice president of ratings at Moody's Ratings.
