Regulation puts stone in the shoe for APAC insurers who want to embrace AI, says WTW’s Dave

Return on investment in Generative AI so far has been “underwhelming”, says Mehul Dave, Southeast Asia leader at broker WTW, but Asia Pacific insurers are still in the foothills of adopting artificial intelligence. “AI shouldn’t be thought of as a technology,” said Dave. “AI is a strategy.”
