Europe and UK’s leading cyber insurance experts to gather in London amid rising 2025 cyber threats
From the recent AWS outage and the cyber attack that threw Jaguar Land Rover into chaos, to high-profile attacks on the retail sector affecting Harrods, Co‑op, and M&S, the UK has seen a sharp escalation in cyber incidents throughout 2025 — testing assumptions about cyber risk, resilience, and insurability. These incidents are no longer isolated; they cascade through vendors, logistics partners, retail ecosystems, and cloud infrastructure, turning one compromise into many. As cross-sector losses mount, questions around coverage clarity, systemic exposure, accumulation modelling, and the long-term durability of the cyber insurance product have moved firmly to the forefront.
Against this backdrop, Intelligent Insurer’s annual Cyber Risk & Insurance Innovation Europe 2026 will return to the Minster Building, London, on 3–4 February 2026, bringing together over 250 senior leaders in cyber, insurance, legal, regulation, risk, and cyber technology from across Europe. The conference will conclude with a celebration recognising excellence in the industry at the Cyber Insurance Europe Awards on 4 February (The Brewery), expected to welcome more than 400 attendees.
As part of Intelligent Insurer’s Cyber Insurance Week, the conference will offer two days of expert insight, interactive sessions, roundtable discussions, masterclasses, and unparalleled networking — addressing both the volatility of today’s threat landscape and the fast-evolving role of the cyber insurance market in supporting resilience.
Key themes span the evolving cyber risk landscape — from CISO priorities and insurance gaps to market sustainability and attacker tactics. Discussions will explore cascading supply chain risk, the role of AI in cyber insurance, cyber risk modelling, and the regulatory impact of NIS2, DORA, and the AI Act. Additional focus areas include unlocking growth in the SME cyber market, claims trends, loss drivers, litigation risk, cyber product design and coverage evolution, and the role of public–private collaboration in managing systemic risk and strengthening resilience..
The conference boasts a stellar lineup of 50+ speakers from leading organisations such as Travelers, Beazley, Marsh, Munich Re, AXA XL, Allianz, Brit Insurance, UIB, Gallagher, Generali, CrowdStrike, Chubb, Liberty Mutual Re, Coalition, Resilience and more!.
