Everest on primary exit: it’s not surrender, but a narrowed focus

A move by global re/insurance group Everest to drop its decade-old foray into primary commercial is no retreat from a failing book, but a pure refocus entailing the sale of a book that had already been heavily remediated, CEO Jim Williamson (pictured) argued in the latest conference call with markets.
