First time trade credit cover inquiries surge as UK gets risk savvy

The UK trade credit insurance market attracted an unusually strong flow of first-time buyers during the opening months of the year as companies sought new ways to manage mounting financial risks, even as businesses express growing confidence in a riskier world, Marsh’s UK trade credit practice leader Ian Leslie (pictured) said while presenting the brokerage’s latest survey on UK insureds.
