Florida Citizens mulls axing 2024 cat bonds, slashing treaty

Florida’s insurer of last resort Citizens may call $1.1 billion in 2024 cat bond issuance ahead of maturity, radically reposition the 2025 cohort and slash its treaty reinsurance purchase to a mere $1.45 billion.
