Florida’s commercial property market saw an eye-opening 42% increase in policy counts heading into surplus line channels and a light continued increase in E&S share of total market, showing a market potentially tossed about by notable structural changes in addition to the prevailing major rate decline, a report from the Florida stamping office suggested.
