Florida eyes rejig of FHCF cat fund, could hand savings to consumers
Florida will consider a major hike in the retentions above which the Florida Hurricane Catastrophe Fund (FHCF), the state’s mandatory home-grown property cat reinsurance pool, would begin coverage and have the FHCF offer a new higher level of coverage to insurers.
