Florida got short-changed on the 2025 mid-year property cat reinsurance renewals amid lingering doubts over the impact the LA wildfires might still carry, but should play a hearty catch up on the softening at mid-year 2026, a top official at global reinsurance and IJLS group RenaissanceRe has claimed.
