Florida’s Citizens may shed 137,000 policies in 2025 after 2024 record

Florida’s insurer of last resort Citizens could cut 137,000 policies from its books in 2025 to follow up on a record year of depopulation that has seen the policy count fall by a full half million net. Total exposure should fall 15.6% or $60.5 billion to $326.4 billion.
