France and Spain wildfires ‘manageable’ for large European insurers: Morningstar

Wildfires in Spain and France have highlighted the growing credit significance of wildfire risk in Europe as fires increasingly threaten urban areas, with rating agency analysts at Morningstar DBRS warning repeated events could place longer-term pressure on insurers' underwriting profitability and catastrophe reinsurance costs.
