Global commercial insurance rates fall for the first time since 2017: Marsh

Global commercial insurance rates declined by 1% in the third quarter of 2024, marking the first overall rate decrease in seven years, according to the Marsh Global Insurance Market Index. Property rates continued to soften, while casualty rates increased globally due to concerns over large jury awards in US courts.
