Global insured annual average nat cat losses reach ‘new high’ of $151bn: Verisk

Global insured average annual losses from natural catastrophes have reached a new high of $151 billion due to rapid urban expansion, climate change, increasing event frequency, and economic and social inflation, according to data analytics provider Verisk.
