Hannover Re sees low 3-digit million Melissa loss, FY cat budget clear

Hannover Re likely survived Hurricane Melissa on a lower triple digit million loss that would have still fit into the company’s YTD nat cat budget, despite the firm’s slightly outsized market share in Jamaica, its chief of P&C reinsurance, Sven Althoff (pictured), has indicated.
