The Hartford warms to commercial auto as compounding rate beats loss trend

US P&C group The Hartford has reversed margin trend in the long-strained segment of commercial auto and is willing to take on new volumes if it brings a cross sell of new business in the door, CEO Chris Swift (pictured) has declared.
