Helene strikes Florida Big Bend, holds strong on inland course

Hurricane Helene made landfall late Thursday night on Florida's big bend near Perry Florida at a category 4 storm bearing maximum sustained wind speeds around 140 mph (225 km/h), then headed north at a fast clip, still bearing hurricane-force winds into the state of Georgia.
