Helvetia and Baloise clear new hurdle in ‘merger of equals’

Swiss insurers Helvetia and Baloise have cleared another hurdle in their bid to merge, a deal set to create Switzerland’s second-largest insurer with a 20% market share in what the firms have hailed as “a merger of equals.”
