Howden Tiger boosts Brazilian leadership with key Sompo hire
Broker Howden Tiger has hired a Sompo executive with a pedigree spanning Fairfax, Chubb and Metlife to lead the operations for its Brazilian business.
Estevam Souza (pictured) has joined Howden Tiger Brazil as head of operations.
Estevam joins Howden Tiger from Sompo Seguros SA, a subsidiary of Sompo International, where he spent nearly four years as reinsurance manager, overseeing reinsurance operations for the company’s Brazilian business.
Previously, he held posts at companies including Porto Seguro, Fairfax, Chubb (as ACE Group), and MetLife.
