Hurricane Beryl has intensified to a Category 5 storm and is forecasted to quickly traverse the southeastern and central Caribbean Sea today (July 2), with a projected destructive path near Jamaica on Wednesday, according to the US National Hurricane Center’s (NHC) latest update.
