Hurricane Isaias likely to dent earnings, not capital: AM Best

Estimated insured losses from Hurricane Isaias will likely remain in the low single-digit billions of dollars, making the first Atlantic hurricane of 2026 an earnings event for affected insurers rather than a significant drain on capital, according to AM Best.
