Hong-Kong ILS investor appoints CEO

HSZ Group, a Hong-Kong-based investment management company that specialises in ILS investment and Chinese equities, has appointed Stefan Kräuchi as chief executive officer (CEO).

Kräuchi, who will also become a partner and shareholder of HSZ, joined the group in 2012 to develop the new business unit dedicated to insurance-linked securities (ILS).

Along with Hansrudolf Schmid, chief investment officer of HSZ China fund and chairman of the board of HSZ Group, Kräuchi will have responsibility for the performance of the fund.

Paul Chu and Lhimark Lau, who have left the company, are succeeded by Vincent Li and William Jing in portfolio management and research.
