AIG, Amwins leaders join Catlin, Ardonagh/Ascot CEOs on e-trading platform's board

Lloyd's-approved digital e-trading risk platform  Whitespace has bolstered its board expertise with two new additions from AIG and Amwins.

The company has appointed Paul Greensmith, global head of specialty at AIG, and Scott Purviance (pictured), CEO of Amwins, to its advisory board.

Greensmith and Purviance will join existing board members, Andrew Brooks (CEO of Ascot), Stephen Catlin (chairman and CEO of Convex), Craig Kingaby (CEO of Meridian Risk Solutions), James Masterton (CEO of Ardonagh) and Steve McGill (CEO, McGill & Partners).

Whitespace’s Advisory Board meets quarterly to advise on developing the international offering of the platform. Over the last two years, 189 organisations have joined the platform, which since the start of 2020, has seen six major functionality releases and 38 minor releases.

Marcus Broome, chief platform officer at Whitespace, said: “We are extremely pleased to have an Advisory Board consisting of some of the most influential leaders in the industry. Their advice and market insight is extraordinarily valuable as we continue to build out our international business.

"Since the Platform’s launch in 2019, we have expanded our customers across multiple geographies, including the UK, Europe, North America and Africa. Paul and Scott’s appointments reflect the truly global nature of our Platform, and we are delighted that they have agreed to join our Board.”
