Allianz AGCS beefs up leadership to attract more multinational deals

Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS), the corporate insurance carrier of Allianz Group, has bolstered its  multinational leadership with newly created positions as part of a  drive into the alternative risk transfer business.

Brian McNamara (Pictured) joined its leadership team as regional head of multinational, North America, in addition to his current duties as global head of captive solutions. He will continue to report to Guy Money, global head of multinational, with a matrix reporting into Grant Maxwell, global head of alternative risk transfer (ART).

Ben Mitchell has been appointed to the newly created position of regional head of multinational technical team for the US and Canada. In this role, he will focus on the regional delivery of the multinational programme overseeing customer service and policy execution, having led this capability over the last eight years.

“Multinational is a platform we’ve been executing on globally for quite some time. This leadership change promises to continue to drive more connectivity across our business as well as increase our profile with the broker and client community in North America,” said Bill Scaldaferri, president & CEO, AGCS North America.

He added: “With Brian’s appointment, AGCS combines our go to market approach across traditional risk transfer and Captive Fronting solutions in the region for multinational deals. We have a seasoned team in place working with Brian, and I look forward to what we will accomplish together for our clients and broker partners.”
