Allied World poaches two VPs from AIG

Allied World Europe has expanded its professional liability team with the addition of two new vice presidents (VP), Alec Goodair and Nicholas Lee, both from AIG.

Goodair has been appointed VP, European financial institutions and Lee has been appointed VP, European professional indemnity. Both will be based in Allied World’s London office.

Goodair was most recently VP, major accounts manager, commercial insurance, for AIG Europe. Prior to joining the carrier side, Goodair worked at both Marsh and Aon focusing on international accounts.

Lee also has substantial experience on both the carrier and broking side working in both Europe and the Asia Pacific markets. Before joining Allied World, Lee was most recently VP, financial lines manager at AIG based in London.

Ed Moresco, senior vice president, Bermuda & International product line manager, professional lines, said: “We continue expanding our international professional liability team to better serve the needs of our clients and trading partners. Alec’s and Nicholas’s technical expertise in their respective lines and their reputation in the London market will be instrumental as we look to grow these books.”
