Amwins takes AIG senior underwriter for specialist MGU Trinity

Global specialty insurance broker  Amwins has taken a senior underwriter from AIG for its specialist managing general underwriter, programme administrator and wholesale broker dedicated exclusively to niche and hard-to-place transportation risks.

Tisha Baptist has joined Trinity Underwriting Manager (TUMI), part of Amwins Underwriting.

In her new role, Baptist will focus on renewal underwriting for TUMI’s towing, sand and gravel programmes, helping build relationships in the Midwest and beyond.

Baptist has 13 years of insurance experience holding various underwriting roles within AIG. Prior to joining Amwins, she worked as a senior underwriter responsible for a large fleet book of business valued at over $11 million at AIG.
