Aon appoints Marsh and PwC execs

Broker Aon has appointed Jay Sharma in its risk management unit Aon Risk Solutions, and Tom Terragno in Aon Hewitt, the global talent, retirement and health solutions business.

Terragno joins Aon Hewitt from PwC, where he served as a healthcare practice leader.

As a partner and leader of the Atlanta market, Terragno will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative human capital strategies within Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, Alabama and Mississippi.

Sharma has joined Aon Risk Solutions as resident managing director for the Connecticut office. He most recently served as the regional sales director for the MENA region for Marsh & McLennan.

In his new role, Sharma will lead office's recruiting efforts, and identify potential acquisition targets for the firm. In addition, support client relationships across all business units, and strengthen partnership with local Aon Hewitt and Aon Benfield leaders.
