Aon completes National Flood Services acquisition

Aon US, a subsidiary of Aon, has completed its acquisition of StoneRiver National Flood Services, and related entities from StoneRiver Group.

Aon said that National Flood Services is uniquely positioned to help Aon Affinity expand its flood offerings and distribution channels, and National Flood Services will continue to execute its growth strategy led by its existing management team.

Bill Vit, president and chief executive officer of Aon Affinity, said: "We welcome the talented National Flood Services team into our firm and we will work together to meet the growing client demand for enhanced flood insurance solutions and expertise in the US.

“Combining our extensive knowledge of insurance solutions and affinity program management capabilities with National Flood Services' industry-leading flood risk assessment technology for commercial and residential markets will allow Aon Affinity to expand its flood solutions to reach a larger client base with this growing sector."
