Aon, Munich Re Digital Partners join Insurtech UK alliance

Insurtech UK, an alliance of insurtech startups joined by associate members of the insurance industry and service partners, has added broker Aon and Munich Re firm Digital Partners as associate members.

In addition, 13 insurtech startups, as well as IDEX Consulting and NCC Group, have also joined the organisation as members and partners. The association, which came together in November 2018, now has a membership of 86 organisations.

Earlier in June, Insurtech UK partnered with the UK's Department for International Trade (DIT) to work together on several initiatives to benefit the UK insurtech community.

“We are really excited about these new additions to our already thriving trade body," said Insurtech UK treasurer and council member Luisa Barile (CFO, Bought By Many).

"The enthusiasm to collaborate and support the community so far has been hugely encouraging and the more we can do to advocate for our sector and support the founders in building their businesses, the quicker we can overhaul the consumer experience and perceptions of insurance.”
