Aon reveals new CEO of Captive & Insurance Management business

Re/insurance broker Aon has appointed John English as CEO for its Aon Captive & Insurance Management business.

English is currently chief operating officer of Aon Captive & Insurance Management and managing director of Aon Captive & Insurance Management EMEA.

He has been with Aon for 10 years and has over three decades of global experience across insurance, reinsurance and alternative capital markets.

English will continue to be based in London and will report to Rory Moloney, working in close partnership with the global leadership teams across Aon’s risk business.

Rory Moloney, CEO Aon Global Risk Consulting said: “John’s diverse geographical experience, extensive knowledge of the captive industry and deep understanding of client needs means he is perfectly positioned to deliver innovative and market-leading solutions to clients.

“John’s focus on key initiatives, including the use of data and analytics within our core captive management proposition and the development of our White Rock and Insurance Linked Securities Management business, will help the firm reinforce our leadership in terms of innovation and value creation.”
