ArgoGlobal hires senior underwriter to launch livestock offering

ArgoGlobal, a Lloyd’s insurer and member of Argo Group, has appointed Louisa Honeybun as senior livestock underwriter, effective immediately.

Reporting to John Moffatt, head of specialty, Honeybun will be responsible for launching and developing ArgoGlobal’s livestock offering.

Honeybun has over ten years of experience in the livestock sector, having most recently served as livestock underwriter as MS Amlin.

Prior to this, she served as an assistant underwriter for Crowe Livestock.

John Moffatt said: “Louisa is the ideal candidate to launch our new Livestock proposition. She has proven her ability to develop profitable books of business based on an in-depth understanding of the sector and expert risk selection.

“There are clear growth opportunities in this market, and I am certain that our new offering will swiftly gain traction under Louisa’s management. I am very pleased to welcome her to ArgoGlobal.”
