Arthur J Gallagher has acquired Houston-based AquaSurance, a property/casualty broker serving Texas water utilities.
Following the deal, AquaSurance co-founders Harry Peyton and Marshall Schoth and their associates will relocate to Gallagher's Houston Galleria office under the direction of Bret VanderVoort, head of Gallagher's South Central retail property/casualty brokerage operations.
"As leaders in addressing the specific needs of water utilities, AquaSurance will be a terrific fit within our public entity practice and will expand our existing Texas water utility business," said CEO J. Patrick Gallagher, Jr.
"I'm very pleased to welcome Harry and his associates to our growing Gallagher family of professionals."
