Aspen mines AIG leader with AGCS & Aon pedigree to lead transformation
Bermudian re/insurer Aspen Insurance Holdings plucked the strategy and growth guru from AIG to step in for a newly crafted position to lead a pending organizational transformation.
Robert Tartaglia (pictured) steps in to the newly created position of SVP and chief operations officer for insurance to “lead Aspen’s transformation efforts across insurance operations, with a particular focus on driving process, data and systems excellence to support our commercial and business strategy,” Aspen said in its announcement.
Tartaglia will arrive from AIG where he last held the title of operational strategy and growth leader to lead the high net worth division’s transformation initiatives around organizational design, operational effectiveness, and technology implementation.
Tartaglia has previously served as global COO at Allianz unit AGCS, chief broking COO at Aon, and in a slew of other senior operations at AIG.
