Aspen poaches XL Catlin exec for casualty role

Aspen Insurance has appointed Lorraine Seib as global head of excess casualty. Reporting to president and chief underwriting officer David Cohen, Seib will be based in New York and will focus on delivering excess casualty coverage solutions to clients across a wide range of industries.  With more than thirty-five years of experience, Seib joins Aspen from XL Catlin, where she most recently served as president of global excess casualty insurance. She also held previous roles at Travelers, Kemper, and Reliance National. Cohen commented: "Lorraine's technical expertise and relationships across the industry are second to none. I am pleased to welcome her to Aspen Insurance."
