Atlas appoints two EVPs
Atlas General Insurance Services has appointed John Speckman and Joe Zuk as executive vice presidents of business development. Speckman and Zuk will be located in New York.
Speckman will be responsible for sourcing general agency, distribution, carrier partnerships and building a nationwide platform for Atlas to distribute its products. He has over 16 years of experience in the re/insurance marketplace. Prior to joining Atlas, he served as the director at Aon Benfield specialising in general casualty with a focus on specialty programmes, workers compensation and professional liability.
Zuk will be responsible for the strategic development of new products, acquisitions, carrier relationships, new programmes, and geographic expansion.
Zuk has 10 years of experience in the reinsurance space including roles in underwriting and brokering. Prior to joining Atlas, he was the senior vice president at BMS Intermediaries, where he was responsible for the development and strategy of BMS’ nationwide initiatives.
