Atrium Underwriters taps insider to lead digital underwriting
Atrium Underwriters, the managing agent for Lloyd’s Syndicate 609, lifted a 16-year veteran tied to the online digital underwriting portal AUGold to become head of digital underwriting and president of group unit Atrium Risk Management Services (ARMS).
Simon Lewis (pictured) got the nod after sixteen years dedication and will now be tasked with “taking us into the next chapter of our digital underwriting journey” including rollout of our AUGold API for our agency partners, further progress with Atrium Innovate from Lloyd’s Lab and the Lloyd’s Product Launchpad, and further expansion of the digital and insurtech offering.
The role covers all classes, putting Lewis atop the digital underwriting evolution across the whole syndicate.
Atrium’s active underwriter Peter Laidlaw said: “Simon’s been a driving force across Atrium Innovate, our Insurtech initiatives and a key part of the success of AUGold to date.
