Aventum nabs Aspen CRO to shape its risk strategy
Global speciality re/insurance broking business Aventum Group has hired the chief risk officer of Aspen Insurance Group UK to accelerate its growth in a dynamic market.
Robert Moorehead-Lane (pictured) has joined Aventum as group chief risk officer – a newly created position designed to manage risk and develop its strategy in an evolving landscape.
Moorehead-Lane has 25 years’ experience in the financial services industry, most recently as chief risk officer at Aspen Insurance Group UK. His experience also includes positions at Grant Thornton, Assurant, and KPMG where he built extensive expertise in risk strategy and framework development, strategic transformation, regulatory policy making, solvency and risk-based capital solutions.
As group CRO at Aventum, Moorehead-Lane will help strengthen resilience with a robust risk framework, strong governance, and oversight as the organisation evolves.
