AXA XL lifts long-term insider to head of upstream energy for UK & Lloyd’s

Global re/insurer  AXA XL found a new head of upstream energy for UK &  Lloyd’s from amongst the senior underwriters on the team, placing its bet on a long-term riser through the AXA XL ranks.

Laura Casby (Pictured) has been with the business launching her career in 2009 as an Underwriting Assistant at Catlin. She has since risen the underwriting ladder both at XL Catlin and then AXA XL, most as senior underwriter on the team she will now lead.  The upstream energy, UK & Lloyd’s team covers both offshore and onshore energy risks from London.
